Every day is a new experience if you look for it! Sometimes I'm able to capture it via a camera... the one I have at the moment! From portraits, to surfers, to fine art and travel, and other subjects in-between, I want to share it with you. Kind regards, James

Fashion Work
Doing some lifestyle photographs at a local business this past weekend. The fun part is meeting other people attending, looking about the store at the unique products and coming up with different angles, ideas and ways to convey the product and shopping experience. The items in the store were mostly hand-made by local artisans and offered for sale to the public.
There are many unique products hand made by people who love doing their art, looking for places to display and sell their wares. This shop in Oceanside, CA offered some the chance to display their products for the day

Mamma
This image is one from my "Faces of Nepal" Series. Up in the mountain villages, this is not an unusual sight to behold; a mother publicly nursing her youngster. This is the most healthy and practical way of feeding an infant among the village women who are poor and not always well fed. I liked the juxtaposition of the serenity and quietness displayed on the face of the infant verses that of his mother. She has a worried look, a look of apprehension perhaps.

So I recently posted this image on my site at 500px and it
barely received notice. And I wonder why. Here is a natural,
non-sexual, instinctive act committed in love by the mother toward the
child. Some find this offensive. I find it beautiful.
